Paul writes from the United States that he is visiting, forcing his ex-wife Maria to break up with Otto. However without proof of his Aryan lineage Paul is unable to enter Germany. (58 min)

"Episode 6: Homefront (1943).
Anton Simon, fighting on the Russian front, marries Martha Hanke via a telephone wedding. Schabbach villagers confront the morality of Nazism. (58 min)

EGC Annual Maifest

The Excelsior German Center is holding its annual Maifest on May 20, 2012 from 12 to 5 PM.  This will be held on the 6.5 acre historic grounds of the Altenheim in Oakland, Ca.

Entertainment includes music, singing and dancing!  Great food, drinks and dessert!  Raffle!

Performing will be the Deutscher Musik Verein and the Pacific Singing Society.

Admission (including meal) is: $10.00 General Public
